what gets your goat about tv adverts?

what does get my back up is the adverts that say 50% or 20% or 10% off. OFF WHAT. !!

The double glazing one at the moment with the prat wearing a red jump suit does my head in and then they repeat it again before the re start of the dammed programme

You've noticed it too. Homebase, DFS, Furnitureland, Sainsbury's to name but a few play tricks on consumers by exploiting a legal loophole regarding previous price.

what pisses me off is the 50% blacks that are in every advert, never see a white man with a black girl though, that confuses me.

what gets me is the shops that have had 30% off for years.
I speak in particular of sports soccer which sells umbrellas for 2.99 reduced from £4.99, although in at least 100 years i have never seen them at £4.99.
I am not objecting to the price, it is a very good price, as I have bought loads over the last decade, I have 3 here still, but the fact they think you fall for it being a bargain because they say 30% off.

some shop increase prices briefly so they can say they are reduced.
