sort of puts things into perspective when you see home from a billion miles away.

I am rather surprised it is only the third time it has been photographed from those distances though. I do remember Carl Sagan with the picture taken by voyager I think that was a wide image view of the solar system looking back and the blueish pixel which was earth.
