£97,000,000 has been spent on a super computer to help the climate change scientists prove that it is real, is happening and then its time for all of us to get our debit cards out.

I don't think many people can argue that climate change isn't happening, it has many times before and no doubt will again, human activity
is speeding things up but when politicians and scientists insist on making the whole thing human driven and that there is a way to stop it is just plain dishonest. The best we can do is prepare for it although that doesn't mean we shouldn't do our bit to conserve and save all we can by changing lifestyles - without being robbed blind by government and other interested parties.

Our climate is the result of the varying levels of heat received from the sun.

climate change has been happening since day one when we got an atmosphere. that is not disputed. What is not proven in any way shape or form is man made climate change, yet we have thrown trillions of dollars at the "problem"

UK child poverty soaring due to Government’s austerity measures, Unicef says

More than one in four children in the UK are now living in poverty – and the number is rising sharply because of the Government’s harsh austerity measures, a charity has said.

David Bull, the executive director of Unicef UK, said the charity was calling for an immediate review of the impact austerity measures were having on children – suggesting that worse was to come.

He said: “It's disappointing to see that 18 countries have managed to reduce levels of child poverty during that difficult economic period and the UK has seen it get worse.
