Rafiullah Hamidy and three other men have been found guilty of raping a 16-year-old girl

A group of men who gang-raped a lost 16-year-old girl above a takeaway have been found guilty.

The girl had asked for directions when she was taken to the room and subjected to a 'frightening ordeal' by the four men.

She was on her way home from a night out in Ramsgate, Kent, when the men picked her up.

Prosecutor Simon Taylor told Canterbury Crown Court that after pushing the girl onto a mattress they carried out multiple rapes 'and laughed as they put her through the ordeal'.

The four men allegedly took her into the room with just a mattress on the floor before tuning off the lights so she would not recognise them.

The trial faced protests by far-right groups including Britain First and EDL founder Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, known as Tommy Robinson.

Shershah Muslimyar, 20, of Canterbury, restaurant owner Tamin Rahani, 37, of Ramsgate, Rafiullah Hamidy, 24, of no fixed address and Hamid Mohamadi, 18, from Wye, all denied three charges of rape.

A jury took two days to find the four guilty on all charges, and they were remanded in custody pending reports on the danger they pose before sentencing in July.

I'm appalled at these peoples behaviour and that they think its ok to do this, I will probably be as appalled that very little will happen to them, legally I mean, I doubt they'll be deported, no doubt their lives are at risk in Afghanistan. Either they can't be genuine or there is something very wrong with them, if you are scared for your life and flee to another, country who takes you , surely you make sure you adapt to that country's laws and way of life, so that you make sure you can stay there. Sadly, Western governments are so lax now and don't give a fig about their, that in reality there is very little consequence for such people committing such crimes in our countries. Call someone a derogatory 'racist' name though and the proverbial book is thrown at you.

The way forward is to put their worthless lives in MORE danger here than in their own countries.
