I can understand the customers being paralysed, but the bouncers - less so, they need to be ready for this sort of attack

why??

bouncers are there to escort boisterous drunks from the premises and are just slightly thuggish untrained civilians with an SIA badge

you could get an sia badge and become a bouncer bob, would you be ready for this??

Im not saying that they should suddenly become John McClane, but they should do a bit more than act like frightened rabbits.
Most Pubs serve food nowadays, which means they have kitchens, and in those kitchens are knives...........

Get as far away as quickly as possible, AKA run like all fucking hell was on my ass.

Taking on 3 religious  knife wielding fanatics is the very last thing on the list of things I would do,especially considering the love Muslims have for blowing themselves up, and it only goes to the top when I have no other options.

The guy running with his pint?? That would be me running to next pub away from the knife wielding maniacs

The only people to survive unscathed after taking them on where the police who gunned them down, everyone else either died or got hacked and slashed but still didn't stop the attackers.

The cop tried with a baton and almost died, that Millwall guy tried barehanded and almost die.

You can be as hard as you want, 12" of steel is still 12" steel.

Would you give the same response if asked the question by a fellow soldier ?

Also do you consider the police officer in question to be a hero ?

my fellow "soldiers" wouldn't ask me that question because my fellow "soldiers" like being alive as much as i do

as for the copper?? i don't think he is a hero, i do think he is a very brave man that did the job he was employed to do, Ive faced greater danger from more attacks under worse conditions over prolonged periods of time and never once thought of myself as a "hero" nor do i require anyone to see or treat me that way.

Probably so as not to be confused with those Labour voters who are soldiers of Islam

It took 8 minutes from the time of the first 999 call to all three being shot dead, the Police Officer and the Millwall guy might not have stopped them, but they did use up their very limited time.
In all probability they did save lives

How did they  save lives??  by letting the knife men use their bodies for stabbing practice

I've been in one of those situations just because a mate couldn't keep his pecker in his pants so the birds hubby sent around the heavies lol!

All on my own that day and shaking in my boots but knew that soon your pub will be wrecked.
He owned the pub when he went out but owned a pile of nothing when he got home ROFL

The history of Birmingham pubs and those that were regulars is fascinating and before my time but some of the OAPs remember them and how they run Aston where I was born and my dad was one of them,
He found god later in life when he became ill but I could have easily become a part of that but got a job I loved!

Part of why they weren't stopped a bit sooner was because they only faced one person at a time, i can imagine if the Copper, the Millwall supporter and the Spanish Skateboarder had all faced the Murderers together it might have been a different story
