I wonder if the father/fathers contribute anything other than genetic material. What happened to the scheme to make fathers pay for their offspring?
A friend of ours has two part time jobs and children in school and doesn't make anywhere near that but still has to pay full council rent and for school dinners, these are the people who should get help not the ones who stay at home and breed uncontrollably.

We know a young very respectable hard working couple with 3 young children, they both work full time, both sets of their parents contribute to having their grand children in hols and after school until parents get home, they would be in a mess with them.
They have a weeks hol in this country in a rented caravan apart from that they manage to keep their heads above water but it is a strain.
They do manage to save a bit but a unsuspecting cost seems to always arise.
They do not get hand outs, financial guarantees.

It sickens me to see them struggle whilst scum scam.

Having said all that, can you really blame anyone for surviving, scum or not??????.

she's bought her horse now and has £90 a week spare to feed and home it. I suggest she could have her benefits cut by at least £90 a week.

If the Horse/ Pony   ever gets Colic, and quite a few do, the average cost of treatment by a Vet is anything from £500 to £4000, HOW will she pay for that?   I know,  she will go running to the RSPCA FOR FREE TREATMENT !!
