Not sure where to put this but Its Staurday night and I'm sitting here wondering why I'm paying good money for the tat I'm being presented with on Sky.
A half decent film I will watch over and over but not every week for a month, a documentary with a subject that I have an interest in is good except the same scenes or information is repeated a number of times in the programme which without the repeats would probably only last about 20 mins, then we have the reality programmes that generally are completley without rhymne or reason, the Kardashians what are they actually for?, Big Brother, couples on the beach/make or break or whatever, seemingly an excuse for soft porn and ridiculing people.   Films that are usually US made, over the top, hysterical and childish, there used to be a channel showing international films some of which were really pretty good without all the hype and pretense of US films, although Britain and the US have made some wonderful films in the past. I think I have yet to see a remake or sequel that stands up to the original with the possible exception of the films Alien and the Mad Max without the last efforts of the Mad Max theme that is. The enunciation in a lot of dramas and films (especially) these days is awful, as are the scenes in the dark that actually are dark, its all well and good being realistic but you are being told a story and have to take your part in the enjoyment by using your imagination and giving things a bit of leeway.
Ok rant over and back to the remote.

Yes, quite enjoyed that a few times, I'm a bit jaded where zombies are concerned though. May watch it again though.
 I think we may need a rerun of that Survivalist Series - Preppers, in view of the current situation. I'm fairly well up on that with some stuff, clothing for fall out,  some medication, water purification, how to books, safe haven but sadly the food situation isn't as good - couldn't persuade my other half to hoard loads of pasta and dried foods or tins for that matter.

Yes, just replaced my water purification and iodine tablets and my fish antibiotics (only legal way to get non prescription antibiotics, at least that I know of).

BBC1,  BBC2,    Reapets repeats repeats,   ITV,    almost as bad.    We are swamped with cookery and Antiqe programes. If you look at all the programs on Sky most are crap, and there are dozens of them. The wildlife programs are good, and if your into Motor Cycles and other mechanical machines being bought and repaired together with a bit of comedy, tune in to channel 249 for Shed and Buried.

I watch almost all my UK tv via downloads so only watch what I really want to watch. I currently have 315Gb of stuff I haven't managed to watch yet. I like the bay where they keep the pirates for stuff you cant find.

I ike Wheeler Dealers and How Its Made but they are repeats quite often.
My favs are old films by known actors, I reckon I have seen most of the good ones several times;
