Global warming to wipe out 'many' animals

Post  fatbob5 on Tue May 08, 2018 3:50 am

Global warming could wipe out many of the animals living in protected parts of the world's oceans by the end of the century, scientists predict.

Polar bears and penguins are among the species under greatest threat.

Projections suggest that by the year 2100, Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) will be 2.8C (37F) warmer than they are today if the levels of emissions carry on as expected. .......

The only way out is stop deforestation now, have a huge re planting scheme every where possible, make private transport illegal, go back to sailing between continents, and most impotantly cut the world's population by at least half asap and the remainder become vegetarian.

bob, there has been several extinction events on the planet since life developed. one wiped out 98% of life. when species go extinct, it leaves space for others to fill their niches.

Evolution is a far slower process than Extinction, it can  take millions of years before a species evolves to become successful in a new environmental niche.
