No, not really. It's just my little joke, based on pretending to take people like the BBC's resident climate activists David Shukman, Richard Black and Roger Harrabin seriously.
I'll tell you what doesn't amuse me, though. Here I am in Wales, on my holidays, enjoying the semi-sun, and suddenly I get emails from and Tweets from sensible people on my side of the argument saying: "Help! Help! The BBC has gone mad for this story about the NASA satellite showing that 97 per cent of Greenland has melted and apparently it's 'unprecedented'. What do we do?"
Sigh. The right thing to do on occasions like this, I find, is to head straight for Watts Up With That? Unlike, say, the BBC, or the Guardian, or the Independent or most of the rest of the MSM, WUWT's posts are grounded in actual science and real world data.

Whoa, steady on there, Nicho. Don't take it personally. A lot depends on who's online and which topics they're chatting in. To be honest it's the first time I've seen your ID here, this is because of the topics and subjects I, and many others, like to discuss.

So, where were we? Give and take? Indeed Nicho, let our good ladys take while we give, it helps in some measure for a peaceful life. Since my retirement I've now become hoover boy No.1. window cleaner, head gardener, second mate in housework, and cat feeder. Oh, and chauffer, trolly pusher round the supermarket where I'm told to 'keep up, will you.' and carrier bag carrier! No doubt other chores I'm not thinking of.

hi stardesk,take no notice of me ,feeling pissed off after recieving bad news from hospital,i will now bore you stiff with list of ailments.tinnitus, heart failier,quadruple heart bypass,cancer still there after radical prosectamy,hiates hernia,gall stones,kidney stones, pain in ankles,knees and hips,can't sleep.had to give up fishing,shooting,would love to give up living but have loving family and pet.

sorry about that stardesk,justs gets me down sometimes,spent all my life outdoors love the countryside and wildlife,allthough used to shoot woodpigeon on farms for a living.i now buy bird seed for woodpigeon and watch them feeding in the garden!!!

Hi Nicho. It seems my health problems are not as bad as yours, though bad enough. I had a heart attack some years back and in March I had a kidney removed as there was a tumour growing out of it. Then in April had a bladder operation where two spots were removed. Now I have low blood pressure and feel knackered most of the time. But, never mind, keep taking the tablets.

I too feed the birds in the garden, one Dove in particular has got so used to me she will fly round my head asking for food. We have a couple of hedgehogs come in every night and I leave some cat food out for them. The wife and I are keen bird watchers and members of the RSPB. We're lucky here in Norfolk, near the coast, we have some of the best bird reserves and wild habitats in the country. Sometimes we go the other side of Peterborough where there is now a large colony of Red Kites. Beautiful to watch.

I'd better stop otherwise I'll fill a page equivalent of an A4. Bye for now.
