the question is will there be as big an advance in the next 100 years. I would love to see colonies, proper ones not just science stations on both the moon and mars, lets get these eggs out of the one basket.
however that will depend on being able to find enough water in both places.
I would say the greatest achievement for mankind was the day neil armstrong set the first foot on the moon. Hard to believe that it was over 40 years ago now and no one has been back for over 30 years.
