1)If you start of with 6 sheep in a field an each gives birth to 5 lambs, how many Sheep will you have?

2) How many lambs will you have?

3) What is the percentage increase in question 1?

4) You put £100 in a bank paying 100% interest at the end of one year how much money will you have?

I'll leave it at 4 today.

1: well at the moment they are all likely to be dead or deformed.
2 it depends on how many die.
3: it depends if it is compound yearly or paid monthly or paid daily, if it is 100% paid once a year then it will be £200 but if it is paid daily it will be far more.

the rate would need to be 5.94631% a month compound to make it 100% APR

2) 30 - but probably not, trick question

3) None

4) None - you've just put it in the bank.

As to the interest I didn't specify, but I meant paid annually at 100%

Tess, Yes I accept they will be lambs, but they are still sheep in my book.
