Has anyone noticed how if a Politician of any Party comes up with a worthwhile idea for the good and well-being of the UK and its inhabitants, all the other Parties, including his/her own Party members, all gang up to immediately stab him/her in the back and find or invent some dirt to sling at that person.

which politician are you referring to or are you just making a general point?
