Look the met office cannot predict tomorrows or next weeks weather with any accuracy, why think they can project it 10, 20 or 30 years down the road with any greater accuracy.

Buying into a flawed model has cost this country and the world billions already, it is time to say enough is enough.

the country could boom again if we ditched this green nonsense.

certain rich land owners are raking in a fortune by allowing these windmills, [bird killers] on there land. one wind mill will generate enough electric to make a cup of tea [perhaps a bit more] all in the name of green energy. a massive con that's costing us billions!

actually bird choppers is the technical term.

without the subsidy the wind industry would collapse.
I do not blame farmers and landowners taking advantage of the idiots who provide the subsidies, I am just annoyed that the taxpayer is the one who has to pay them.

Off shore wind farms can be productive, as for subsidies, do we not subsidise every energy producer?

Each kWh of electricity from wind energy has 21 times less environmental impact than oil-based energy, 10 times less than nuclear energy and 5 times less than gas.

well plainly bollox, do you no how ungreen concrete is and the production of the turbines.
wind power is a nonsense as a primary producer as it requires a conventional backup for the times it is too windy, not windy enough, too hot, too cold or just plain broken.
