any idea what it costs to give them a full charge? with the cost of electricity going up and factor in the cost of building them in the first place plus the cost of disposing of the batteries when finished with.you might as well buy a range rover in the first place!!!

well top gear did a challenge using small electric cars and they had to wait about 13 hours when they ran out half way through the challenge. So it should be a matter of a pound or two I should think.

battery rental is £90 a month for the leaf.
looked on auto trader and a nissan leaf is around half the price for a year old one on the price of a new one

well as the batteries can cost up to £11000 renting them can be a good idea.
But the whole fact that the cares by an large can do no more than 150 miles on a charge means they are more or less useless for anything but a short drive into town

the whole point of this expedition was to show that the antartic was more ice free at this time of year. It is not.

where have I lied about anything. This ship is stuck in ice when it was supposed to be proving that the antartic sea was ice free at this time of year. That is a fact. the people on this ship are having to be rescued by helicopter as the three largest icebreakers in the region cannot reach them because the ice is too thick, (some with less grace may say much like you, but I would not continence such an attitude) the facts are that ice melts and reforms elsewhere something that is often ignored when presented by the warmist church of climatology.
