Premier League- so damn close this year!
I've never really known a Premier League season to be as tight as this at this point in the season- normally there is a clear 2 or maybe 3 at most who are contenders- but now it could honestly go to any one of the top 7 right now.
Tbf though I think no one really expects anyone other than City, United, Arsenal or Chelsea. Had a moment of hope this afternoon the City would kick off the New Year at the top but them slimy Gooners went and clawed it back at the last minute- that ship better start sinking and fast
Who are everyones picks this year then? I don't want to jinx us but surely City are the best prospect here

Hi Eilzel
Too true, and is one of the best for ages, for me it is good as Arsenal are winning even when playing poor and that is the sign of champions, which even you will hate to admit!

Hi didge
It is certainly true that championship quality winning teams never give up- and Arsenal proved that today. Still not sure they will be able to maintain that quality though- you think they will win?

To be honest not sure, depends on the people they bring in to strengthen the squad, but the fav are Man City on form, but anything can happen as seen as Man City are unpredictable, they have a team of many natural gifted players but at times who do not play well together as a team when the pressure is on.
I think any of 5 teams can win it this year to be honest and I do not even rate Man Utd in that!

Well Liverpool are still looking strong- and don't have the disadvantage of Europe (though I'm sure they don't see it that way haha). I'd never write off United, though they are losing now
I agree, City can be horribly unpredictable- fortunately Aguero will be back in a months time, which will be a major boost by then

Liverpool is one of the 5 I have that could win and to be honest I think Everton are sadly under rated, who I think are a fantastic side.
I think Chelsea will struggle though only for this season as I think by next season Mourinho will have gotten them into a winning side, I begrudge to say I think he is that good as a Manager. You only have to see what affect losing someone vital has with Man Utd and as we speak they are losing 2-1.
I agree though this has to be one of the best seasons for a long time, so unpredictable, and may it long continue!
Have a good evening Eilzel, next week the FA Cup, happy days.
