We had a prisoner in Holloway who was extremely dangerous and had to be rotated around each female establishment to share some of the risk.  She was previously a he with muscles and a mustache and the NHS paid for the sex change op.  Naturally she had started out in a male prison but after the op she was recognized as a female.  She/he had killed a few people over the years and I'll never forget being cross deployed to the segregation unit one afternoon and opening her cell hatch to check on her....  Very little scares me but I have never ever seen such evil eyes staring back at me about 8 inches away; bright blue but devoid of emotion and she had a beard starting to appear!  It turned out that the NHS was paying for her to revert back to being a man.

They should be paying to put it down.

That one should cause an uproar !!

That disturbs me as much as I did you on two levels.

First the obvious one dealing with a psychopath  and secondly WTF are we doing paying for it to have a sex change.

I have no issue with transgender people, I used to know one slightly froma bar I used to go to and she was a nice girl. Built like a brick shithouse an ex paratrooper, but nice enough. What I don't like is these operations being paid for on the NHS. It is not the job of the taxpayer to remove or add bits to people. the same in my view goes for boob jobs and the like. If someone has had a mastectomy due to cancer or some illness then I have no issue with them receiving cosmetic surgery on the NHS, it is vanity surgery that I, and no doubt many others object to.
