Starring Forrest Whittaker

Bloody good film.
It's based on a true story and chronicles the life of a black butler taken on by the White House in the fifties and his rise and the troubles set by The black Panthers.

Really worth a watch.

Watched this a couple weeks ago - good film well worth a watch if only to remind us how bad things were for black people.

Hi flix,
I think it was very well done too, and Forrest Whittaker was pretty good in it.

It did show how awful they had it, and what an inspiring story - and a bloody interesting one for the Butler to tell his grandchildren!

I did find the Reagan administration a rather interesting one....

vantage point is a good thriller and the last king of scotland is excellent.

the last king of scotland is well worth it. Its loosely based on idi amin

Vantage point is brilliant., Its about a bombing as seen from various characters viewpoint. A cracking thriller

Tried to find it on virgin films but couldn't?

Watched a film called All is lost with Robert Redford - a man lost at sea.
Let's just say we had to watch it over two nights as, after a few whiskeys, it wasn't interesting enough to keep us awake.......

The ending was good though, and not just because it had ended.
