£97,000,000 has been spent on a super computer to help the climate change scientists prove that it is real, is happening and then its time for all of us to get our debit cards out.


What a waste of money when it looks like the UK will suffer electrical blackouts this winter.

The last, notice the word last ice age was about 20,000 years ago since then we've had higher temperatures in Britain - as when the Romans were around and mini ice ages as when the Thames froze over as in Tudor times, there were 50 to 100 years of relatively bad wet cold weather in the 700 -800's when famine was rife ad that's just Britain to say the whole thing is human driven is rubbish unless you believe the sun has nothing to do with the weather and conditions on the earth not to mention volcanic activity. Even the BBC admits ice ages have come and gone in the last 2.6 million years and that strickly speaking we are still in an ice age but are having a warmer bit, the earth has been far warmer than it is now, like tropical all over.

This summer was the best summer I can remember in years, I've been back in the UK for 9 years now, that's the longest I've been home since I was 17 years old, absolutely brilliant weather from May onwards. Last year there was an acorn glut in the forest, I think it killed about 100 ponies that was supposed to be a sign of a harsh winter, I'm told this winter is likely to be as cold as 62-63, it can happen, and I'm still seeing critters stocking up, but it's hard to tell, what I have noticed is it appears that winters are wetter, if the jet stream etc moves further south all that rain will freeze and turn to snow.

I'm no expert but if 97% of experts think the planet is getting warmer, then I'd take their advise over the gluttons in oil corporations any day!

The earth has been warmer and cooler before.


There will always be fluctuation as the heat from the sun is not constant.



The earth does well to regulate the overall temperature through natural processes.
