go to that baen books link I gave you. they have a writers forum there which may be able to help. they also publish short stories and novels. It is worth a look and they might be able to give you advice from people who actually do publish novels.

Does this mean you are writing one.

you could always publish it here first. A chapter a week in its own section? it wont make you any money of course. but you can get an idea if anyone likes it

well if you can leave them on a cliff hanger it could be like saturday morning cinama serials
