Have just come back from Vets were I was charged £6-87 for a single worming tablet for one of my cats. What a bloody rip off!!

You can get a packet with two in from Tesco for that much.

THink the Tesco ones only work for two types of worms.

How do you know your cat has worms?

Our vets offer a monthly payment system which includes a 6 monthly check, monthly flea treatment, 6 monthly worming pills and annual vaccinations. You also get 15% off any vet treatment or any items you purchase.

It costs me £10.99 a month for my little dog but I think it's cheaper for cats. Might be worth looking into Nicko

One of my cats had the "runs"   Taken to vets Consultation fee £28,    prescribed drugs £14-56, anti-biotic injection £16-00 = =£58-00.   Still got "runs" after 8 days. Taken back today,given special food £14-00+ worm tablet of which I got the price wrong, it was £7-95

total£80--62

cost of spaying one month ago--£58-00

total---£138-62    for a cat I found in my shed and adopted me, I must be stark raving mad.

   but she is a beautiful and loving cat!

How is the cat doing Nicko ?, 2 of my cats also adopted me, but they still visit their proper homes.

For regular drugs you can ask for a prescription and get the same drugs on line but cheaper, I don't suppose it would be much good for things you need straight away.

The little female is doing two perfect "dumps" to one runny one! might be improving. The vet said she's about one year old.I say little but she's as long as the big tom cat but has got very short legs.
