britain is and almost always has been a mongrel country. -- not as much as some people would have you believe, according to genetic studies until recently the majority of areas sampled showed the population had markers showing their ancestors arrived here just after the ice retreated, even the Anglicised areas still had conciderable Celtic and Khymric markers. There are pockets showing Viking markers, there's few examples of similar Roman or Norman markers. Britain traded a lot before the Romans arrived there's bound to be some mixing.
I agree though there are not any places where you could call the population pure bred.

I agree though there are not any places where you could call the population pure bred.

Britain in the main has benefitted from the various incursions of invaders and traders from Europe over the centuries , and by the 19 century it achieved a truly Great Britain . So in that respect we are a mongrel nation.

As to so called 'pure Blood ' we only have to look to the East to those countries that are insular in their culture , where pure blood is achieved by ' Inter breeding ' and we are now seeing the madness that has been bred in.
