The idea is good - most of the characters though, pretty annoying and shallow, don't care if they are zombified or die, may get better but so far pales compared to The Walking Dead, although TWD story took off at a run, this so far, stumbles along. So many missed opportunities. However I have missed the Season 2 start, got the date wrong.

yes it is, but a very slow burner as it deals with the time when the dead forst started, essentially the weeks that rick was unconscious in hospital.fatbob5 wrote:Is it any good?

Pretty much until the last episode you hardly see any of them.
series 2 started last week and got off to a good start. I love abigale.
Re: Fear the Walking Dead
the reason is they start from the time that the dead first arise. It gives more insight into what happens as the emergency grows.Flix wrote:The idea is good - most of the characters though, pretty annoying and shallow, don't care if they are zombified or die, may get better but so far pales compared to The Walking Dead, although TWD story took off at a run, this so far, stumbles along. They probably havent even reached the time that rick woke up yet, hence the reason that it isn't walkers all the way.
However the last episode did have a quite a climax and the first episode of season 2 starts immediately from there and is quite exciting, it may not be a negan type coming for them but someone certainly is.
Also we got to see swimming walkers, well bobbing actually as they all had lifejackets on.

I'll probably get to like it but the characters are not really likeable so far, at least the ones that managed to stay alive.

I did, but my attention wasn't really gripped. I will watch Season 2, if only because there's little else of interest to watch and will likely get to like it.
