Many people raved about Callas but some of her work just ordinary, mind you.... I ferverently believe that you have to find the right soprano to match your ear, same with male tenors.

Some rave about Renatta Tebaldi, not me though.

Callas certainly does it for me, I can't think of one male opera singer that I like, Puccini is my favourite composer, I think Callas and Puccini we're perfectly matched.
