Boy what a film, wish id seen it in the Cinema though

Ps , in actual fact, wearing wet clothes in a freezing cold climate wiil kill you, although it seems counterintuitive you need to remove them fast

Training for Artic warfare in Norway, -20 deg's. Cut hole in ice, jump in fully clothed, wait 10 seconds and then try to get out using ski poles to help. When out, other squaddies strip off your clothes and roll you in snow. Then, completely pissed off, go into tent, towel dry, dress in dry kit and have "brew" and take the piss out of the Instructor.

Cut hole in the ice, place dead fish around edge of hole, when polar bear bends down to eat the fish, 'kick it in the icehole'.

How difficult was it too get out ?

Very difficult Bob, your frozen stiff and you have to get your arms on to the ice and pull yourself up. With the weight of your clothing saturated with water it's a hard job. But easy for a Para.
