Government under pressure to publish warnings of 'Doomsday Brexit'

The government is under pressure to release papers outlining a "Doomsday Brexit" scenario in which the UK would run short of medicines, food and fuel within two weeks of leaving the EU.


Whitehall officials are reported to have drawn up three different scenarios for a cross-government group preparing for Britain's departure from the EU. ......

this is just more of project fear, it is being presented as what will happen without a deal as if it is fact, where as it is actually using the worse case scenarios for every assumption. Food will not run out, drugs will not run out, trade will not grind to a halt. 60% of our trade is already with the rest of the world and where trade deals are in place with the EU, they will continue for a least 10 years giving us time to either renegotiate them or agree to continue as is. Project fear failed in 2016, but it is still trying to continue. The only people falling for this nonsense are rabid remainiacs.

At the end of the day, should brexit turn out to be a failure, the oh so magnanimous EU would surely welcome us back with open arms as they care for us so much?
