... In the new small screen version, Buffy Summers, who was made famous by actress Sarah Michelle Gellar, will be portrayed by a so far unnamed black actress. .....


......The Hollywood Reporter, which first revealed the reboot, said the new series will be "diverse, with some aspects of the series… seen as metaphors for issues facing society today".......

reboot is shorthand for no new ideas.

Does no one have an original idea at all these days.

There already was a black vampire slayer if I remember correctly. She appeared while Buffy was still around, not supposed to happen according to the legends in the programme, only one slayer at a time.
