Jamaica wants compensation for slavery

I just watched Sky News about Prince Harry's upcoming visit to Jamaica. Jamaica want to get rid of the Monarchy and become a Republic. Fair play to them, I'm sure no-one in Britain's that bothered. (I may be wrong about that.) They also showed a woman going on about how we owe them compensation for the days when we had plantations there and slaves.

Jesus, how far back do they want to go? Maybe we should sue Denmark for the Viking raids on us. Or the French for the Norman conquest.

They should sue the African tribal leaders who sold them and the arabs who started the slave trade.

I watched the same article on SKY this morning & thought silly cow.

The US is already paying reparations to the descendents of slaves (now known as farmers), but we are so damn stupid most people have no clue this is even happening.

So there are 18,000 black farmers but 84,000 African-Americans applied for free money, Obama money, under this bill. Now, something doesn't add up. All 84,000 got the money but there are only 18,000 farmers. This was a settlement for discrimination against black farmers. Yet 84,000 African-Americans got some money, and the something not right here leads all the way to the Obama Oval Office. If this did not involve African-Americans, this could become the #1 political story of next year because this is corruption right out in front of everybody's eyes. The left is celebrating today the fact that it found a creative way to pass reparations. That's what this is. Steve King, Republican from Iowa, said so, and the left is just beside themselves over this. Here's what he said yesterday afternoon on the House floor.

KING: I'm one of the people that's actually read the consent decree from Pigford One. It starts out with these words: "Forty acres and a mule." In truth we have here the modern-day version of reparations that are going on."

They want their cake and eat it. It's okay to be a British dependent when it comes to living off British benefits, yet they want compensation as well for something that happened in history.

What about the "British" woman facing execution in the States. She's from the West Indies; I bet she's never set foot in Britain, yet she's asking for Britain to save her, and she called it "the motherland". I bet if she'd never been arrested she'd be screaming abuse with the other thousands, calling Britain the evil Empire. Couldn't make it up.
