President Donald Trump has condemned hatred and white supremacy in a public address following mass shootings that left 31 dead in Texas and Ohio.


He called for mental health gun control reforms, the death penalty for those who commit mass murder and more bi-partisan co-operation over gun laws. .........

So the El Paso shooter was a white supremacist.

The Dayton shooter was a Leftist.

The ICE bomber quoted AOC.

The Congressional baseball game shooter was a Bernie bro.

But according to the media, all the violence is Trump’s fault. Disgusting dishonesty.

I can see why the dayton shooting has been all but forgotten by the media now

Also att eh weekend, there was a Mass Shooting in Chicago, injuring 7 people. Drive by shooting at Douglas Park, but it’s funny how we don’t hear about that shooting. In a Democratic state and the shooter was a Democrat. Just saying!

And Chicago has some of the toughest gun laws in America.

In my opinion here the main issue which is causing these mass murders is - High-Capacity Magazines

You dont need a firearm with a HCM for home defense
You dont need a firearm with a HCM for hunting animals
You do need a firearm with a HCM if you want to kill 50 people in a shopping centre

You can have a 5 shot mag in the rifle and several others in your pocket, I can drop an empty mag and push another home in 3 or 4 seconds !

Im not an expert in Marine Zoology but I do know that its probably not a good idea to go swimming with Sharks

Smells, the clip totally misses the point
It might well be quick and easy to change a Magazine when on a firing range when you have "fresh' magazines on a barrell in front of you but its a totally different situation for someone moving with the magazines in a rucksack or pocket

no bob the clip totally destroys your point, because your point was essentially that high cap mags made it easy to commit mass murder, the clips shows that no matter the size of the mag the time taken to get the rounds down differs by seconds which in reality translates to one or two less casulaties as those one or two ewscape in the reload window , it wont prvent the mass shooting

if someone turns up for a run-n-gun and has his mags in his pockets or rucksack it shows they are amateurs and havent prepared for the attack so it doesnt matter if he is using 5x30 rnd mags or 10 x 15 rnd mags it wont be much of a slaughter if he has to stop shooting to get them out of a backpack every time

some lunatic thinking about doing this is going to prepare, and you can get low profile shooting belts that can hold 10 mags on the belt  for tactial purposes or for competition shooting, so it wont be stopping and getting new mags from a backpack or pocket it will be fast relaods 

sorry but your point is nonsense bob and the stats about accuracy provided by that clip in the beginning show why people need high cap mags, even police miss their targets a lot of the time which is why they have moved to high cap mags

but its emotional gun control so the reality doesnt matter "doing something" is all that matters, some of the states in america with the most restictive gun laws have some of highest crime and murder rates through guns, how does that work??

you think these people buy a gun and go on a rampage the first day. They shoot at ranges. It is not hard to reload even a lee enfield in a few seconds by pushing a clip of bullets into the mag through the top of the rifle. Dropping a mag and putting in a new one takes no time at all even for a novice
