Why do you think a second national lockdown is coming??
Mass unemployment and house repossession will lead to unrest
Its easier to prevent unrest than it is to quell it once it starts, with a lockdown in place the security forces will be able to respond much more quickly and prevent any unrest from getting out of control
The rule of six is designed to be so draconian and provoke so much anger that the population will ignore it, that's what Johnson wants, he wants people to break the rules so he can use it as an excuse to impose full lockdown.
Buy toilet paper now nob, that's my advice

Gonna be interesting to see how they justify another lockdown with numbers going up and yet there is not a swab test to be had in all the land.
No swabs = no tests = no way of knowing.
But then again tyrants need no reason for their tyranny

One consolation, at least we are living in a First World Country like the UK. Thank goodness we are not living in a Third World country like Turkey

If the Rule of Six is still in place for Christmas, things could get interesting.smelly-bandit wrote:

New rules same as the old rules Bob. Can't see anything that has changed for me.
I have a "hidden Disabilities" face mask exempt card on a lanyard so I haven't worn a mask since day one and have no intention of doing so anytime soon, you can fine someone who can't wear the mask because they are "transitioning"
Going to a pub is like visiting a prison so I don't bother going anymore nevermind wanting to hang around one till 10.
Rules of six doesn't apply to me since no one overlooks my garden and who can say what 6 people at a bbq sounds like compared to 7?? Besides of all the people I know I don't think I even like 7 of them Enough to want them round my place.
And if I want my family round for Christmas they are coming round for Christmas.
I don't really see what's changed to be honest.

Sh*te
Cardiff Council is going into Lockdown. I'm covered by Vale of Glamorgan but I'm right on the border which is going to restrict my nightly strolls.
