Kinect 360....
On the second day of this thing...bloody awesome and is everything that the EyeToy (PS) and Wii should and could've been.
The track and field is great!!! albeit a tad tiring.

I haven't tried one but the game I saw ot TV with a raft affair did not look that exciting. Now a good golf game might make me change my mind.

That raft game is fantastic to play, and there are a few others on that game too which are brilliant.

Re: Kinect 360....
I think it's a shiny little gimmick being used to market to people not properly into gaming.
The majority of us just want to sit back in our seat with the controller and enjoy our experience, not have to dance around like imbeciles.
That is what Dance Dance Revolution is for.

I think it rather depends on the game. some lend themselves more to the kinetic/wii style consoles and others need a good keyboard. After all I cannot see a flight sim being very good on a kinetic.

In all honesty, I don't want my 6 year old to be properly into gaming.
The advantage of both the systems is how easy they are to use and interact with (both as an individual or as a group/family)-- christ...I stopped enjoying console games once they got more complicated than Hogs of War.

Yeah, you fit the demographic they're going for with the Kinect perfectly, not meaning to be insulting in case you thought I was making a comment.
What we're worrying about is if the Kinect will become the "main" software used in games in the future, so long as they keep catering to remote control games then I'm fine with it I'll be pissed off if traditional games get put aside in favour of motion control gimmicks.

I'm not insulted, far from it.
I never progressed much further than Quake on the pc..to be honest.
The Wii certainly helped my recovery after a shoulder op'.
The accuracy of the kinect (in terms of mimicking the players real movements, is nothing short of phenominal).
