Last day of royal ascot
Highlight of today is the Australian super mare, black caviar.
Winning 21/21 in her homeland, she takes on the best of Britain today.
Not a betting proposition, but very interested to watch her run (odds of 1/4 a little prohibitive)

Done royal ascot (with top hat etc) a few times.
The highlight was seeing bobby robson's face as he was serenaded by loads of us, as he was near the bandstand.
He was thrilled....
We were in the box next to keegan... he was chatting away to her- a nice chap!

Re: Last day of royal ascot
A great racing festival but my favourite is and always be Cheltenham.
Black caviar won as expected today but was very close to getting done. The jockey rode with supreme confidence and had the race won, only to stop riding about 150 yards from home. Those dashing late and fast got upside and almost ahead but he got it going again onthe final 50 yards to win by a neck
A great example of how to ride a horse on the bridle.....he never pushed one and never even thought about the whip......but he should think about those flyin at the end when he is easing the best horse down early
