Watched the final episode of Derek today and I have to say it was a fitting end to the series. A real tearjerker and shows that RG can act and write some really good stuff.

Lets hope it won't be too long before they are back

Still haven't gotten around to watching it as per your suggestion.
Don't like much of Ricky's stuff though.

I loved the pilot episode last year.

Can't catch it over here there, and streams are more hassle than they're worth, but will be catching up with it in a couple of months. Gervais is unfairly attacked by over sensitive or snobby critics- glad to hear the series seems to have lived up to the pilot Smile

this is undoubtedly his best work ever. It is funny, sympathetic and a real tear jerker at times. the cast are perfect and Karl pilkinson is a real gem.
