Nope as posted about this before, check back we have been over this before on the other thread and even posted this showing you do not actually red them do you?
That is why you are a denialist.

I am sure that the serial attention seeker will now tell us that he has a Master's in geology, specialising in vulcanology. It's no doubt up there on his wall alongside his alleged degrees in history, theology, psychology and now climatology.
However, if he starts trying to impress us all with his "vast knowledge" of this subject as well as everything else, I will not attempt to counter his arguments because I know bugger all about the subject - and, for one, am not afraid to admit it.

Not my specialist subject, far from it and happy to admit, though no some basic science which is all that is needed, but someone is clearly very upset ha ha
Mate just because you would bullied at school for being a pompous knob, shows that it is you that is a tad insecure mate, but not your fault, it is what happens when you born with a spoon up your arse

I have said repeatedly that the climate models used to give the relentless pronouncements of doom were flawed and this appears to be confirmation

31 | "Oceans are cooling" | The most recent ocean measurements show consistent warming.
32 | "It's a 1500 year cycle" | Ancient natural cycles are irrelevant for attributing recent global warming to humans.
33 | "Human CO2 is a tiny % of CO2 emissions" | The natural cycle adds and removes CO2 to keep a balance; humans add extra CO2 without removing any.
34 | "IPCC is alarmist" | Numerous papers have documented how IPCC predictions are more likely to underestimate the climate response.
35 | "Water vapor is the most powerful greenhouse gas" | Rising CO2 increases atmospheric water vapor, which makes global warming much worse.
36 | "Polar bear numbers are increasing" | Polar bears are in danger of extinction as well as many other species.
37 | "CO2 limits will harm the economy" | The benefits of a price on carbon outweigh the costs several times over.
38 | "It's not happening" | There are many lines of evidence indicating global warming is unequivocal.
39 | "Greenland was green" | Other parts of the earth got colder when Greenland got warmer.
40 | "Greenland is gaining ice" | Greenland on the whole is losing ice, as confirmed by satellite measurement.
41 | "CO2 is not a pollutant" | Through its impacts on the climate, CO2 presents a danger to public health and welfare, and thus qualifies as an air pollutant
42 | "CO2 is plant food" | The effects of enhanced CO2 on terrestrial plants are variable and complex and dependent on numerous factors
43 | "Other planets are warming" | Mars and Jupiter are not warming, and anyway the sun has recently been cooling slightly.
44 | "Arctic sea ice has recovered" | Thick arctic sea ice is in rapid retreat.
45 | "There's no empirical evidence" | There are multiple lines of direct observations that humans are causing global warming.
46 | "There's no correlation between CO2 and temperature" | There is long-term correlation between CO2 and global temperature; other effects are short-term.
47 | "We're coming out of the Little Ice Age" | Scientists have determined that the factors which caused the Little Ice Age cooling are not currently causing global warming
48 | "It cooled mid-century" | Mid-century cooling involved aerosols and is irrelevant for recent global warming.
49 | "CO2 was higher in the past" | When CO2 was higher in the past, the sun was cooler.
50 | "Global warming stopped in | Global temperature is still rising and 2010 was the hottest recorded.
51 | "It warmed before 1940 when CO2 was low" | Early 20th century warming is due to several causes, including rising CO2.
52 | "Satellites show no warming in the troposphere" | The most recent satellite data show that the earth as a whole is warming.
53 | "It's aerosols" | Aerosols have been masking global warming, which would be worse otherwise.
54 | "It's El Niño" | El Nino has no trend and so is not responsible for the trend of global warming.
55 | "2009-2010 winter saw record cold spells" | A cold day in Chicago in winter has nothing to do with the trend of global warming.
56 | "It's a natural cycle" | No known natural forcing fits the fingerprints of observed warming except anthropogenic greenhouse gases.
57 | "Mt. Kilimanjaro's ice loss is due to land use" | Most glaciers are in rapid retreat worldwide, notwithstanding a few complicated cases.
58 | "There's no tropospheric hot spot" | We see a clear "short-term hot spot" - there's various evidence for a "long-term hot spot".
59 | "It's not us" | Multiple sets of independent observations find a human fingerprint on climate change.
60 | "It's Pacific Decadal Oscillation" | The PDO shows no trend, and therefore the PDO is not responsible for the trend of global warming. |

sadly the church keeps changing its doctrine as their claims of doom and gloom repeatedly fail to add up. the basic models they use for these predictions are totally flawed and use the wrong assumptionsnicko wrote:Any one who read that lot from start to finish needs to get a life!

One could add "unless the 'facts' are what they themselves want to believe."
Skeptical Science is simply a smallish blog devoted to trying to debunk the opinions and statements of anyone who takes a sceptical line on climate change, and the "facts" which it presents are primarily opinions which meet with the approval of the blogger John Cook.

Never made any such claim, but where you find the vast majority with factually based evidence. None of which has ever had a paper refute their findings. Then you have to ask why some are still in constant deniall, even more so when they refuse to even look at the evidence.
I mean seriously Nicko, are denialists claiming there is now a mass conspiracy on the vast majoirity oif scientists?

Re: it volcanos, stupid
I believe we are experiencing a period of global warming, I just am not sure it's "man made" We had periods of hot and cold over thousands of years, but there were no men alive then, perhaps dinosaurs farted a lot! Joking aside we have a lot of people saying global warming is caused by man and a lot of people saying it's a natural thing.I'M 50-50 on this.

Which is fair enough Nicko.
I am no expert on this but from what I have read and looked into there is nothing that discounts what the many scientists are saying.

Good afternoon Dean.
Years ago when the global warming debate kicked off,I recall reading a very similar article about volcanoes. And back then, the claims about volcanoes made straight forward common sense & is as good a theory as any.
This simpleton ass rubbish about humans being to blame is a smokescreen to avert us from the real cause....volcanoes.And that's only if there really is global warming, because that claim itself has been discredited by boffins time & time again.
The global warming belief is just another modern day fad religion, which has had it's day but is now going out of fashion....Just like left wing fanatacism.

Re: it volcanos, stupid
in a paper published in November last year, atmospheric scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology found that small volcanic eruptions in the early 21st century, which had been largely overlooked, were responsible for up to a third of the hiatus in warming.
Now researchers at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, in California, have found signs of the effects from eruptions from the late 20th century and early 21st century in the atmospheric temperature, moisture and amount of sunlight reflected from the atmosphere.
They also found that the eruption of Pinatubo, a volcano on the island of Luzon in the Philippines, which last erupted in 1991, also caused a drop in tropical rainfall.
'The fact that these volcanic signatures are apparent in multiple independently measured climate variables really supports the idea that they are influencing climate in spite of their moderate size,' said Mark Zelinka, a climate scientist at Lawrence Livermore and one of the authors of the new study.
i'm sure i've read about this before, although fairly recently,,,,,very interesting
i'm not sure if this was covered in that incredibly long mythbusters post however as this is a very recent report i would think probably not.
