PS: It makes me feel better today after inadvertently locking my safe keys in, er, the safe!
well, at least you can remember you did that and not still wandering around looking for them. Often times I'm actually holding in my hand the item i'm looking for. DOH!

How many of 'em remember Biggles, I wonder? Or Dick Barton, Jock and Snowy (especially the time they were on the run escaping from some dastardly enemy when they happened to, er, come across a fully fuelled aircfraft (as you do) and Jock roared away to a perfect take-off casually remarking in a silly JD voice "Ah've neverrr flown an aerrroplane before but ah would think it's verra much like drivin' a car, the noo..."
And then there was Roy of the Rovers! Ah, memories (and thank God that I can still remember them!
Now, what was that word? Ah, yes:
pong -- tong (cue for rousing rendition of the Ying Tong iddle-i-Fo song performed by Neddy Seagoon and Bluebottle...)

I was ten when I heard "Dick Barton Special Agent" on the "wireless" Happy Days, and saying that reminds me of the "fonz" a good few years later.

TeeeHeee, glad I'm not the only one, I sometimes end up looking for my headgear or reading glasses while wearing it/them.

totally, but one time i was at the checkout with a few items. I got my debit card out of my purse and held it gently between my teeth whilst looking for my bonus card. once that was sorted i put my items in bag still with the card in my teeth and then got my purse out again and went frantic thinking i just got that out. it was only when i realised that i couldn't articulate the words 'oh shit' properly that i remembered where it was. the cashier was in fits of laughter, i mean who the flock does that? hubby used to say i was a danger to myself and a menace to society and not fit to be let out alone
not sure what your word means but anyhoos
