If you watch you will see the water covers his shoes in the film. If it was too close to the surface people would have seen.

A canoe had virtually no hull under the water do would glide over easily.

When he gets pulled into the dinghy, you will notice that doesn't go too close to him as that does have a hull and the prop is also well submerged

Simple really, the perspex platform is set up by divers using
rebreathers (no bubbles). The canoes that come by skim over it as they
have very little displacement. Then when dynamo is hauled into the boat
the end of the platform is collapsed so when the boat spins round it
seems like there was no platform.

Where is my proof of this, my
proof is in the fact that he's walking on the waters surface seemingly
without support, and the trick has been done several times on rivers
before, always with a perspex platform (criss angel, mythbusters).

I
uploaded this as I was sick of people claiming this was real magic, but
dont get me wrong, I think Dynamo is brilliant, but they are just
tricks.

I think the bit about divers and rebreathers may be overcomplicating it a little. it's more likely that a crew set it up the day before when no one was looking or caring.
