It's that time of year again. US Master 2016

so the 80th masters started on thursday and the first 2 days play have been pretty interesting.
Jordan Speith is the front runner again after 2 days but only with a 2 shot lead and there are quite a few players within spitting distance of him. It is always hard to pick a winner at Augusta because the course is so unforgiving and can ruin even the best players rounds.
ernie els too 7 puts on a par 4, most of them from with a foot or so of the cup for a score of 10.
Phil Mickleson has gone out after posting a score of 79 in the second round.
Rory McIlroy is still in with a chance but he has had a lot of problems finishing at Augusta.
Even one of the amateurs is right up there with the leaders.
britain has a good showing in the top 10 or 15 with Justin Rose, Paul Casey, Ian Poulter all below par.

But it would be a brave man who would bet the farm on any player winning at the moment.

I am just loving it though, and will be watching into the wee small hours tonight and tomorrow.

After 4 days it really only got exciting in the last 7 holes after speith who had led all the way shot a 7 on the 12th after bogies on the previous 2 holes throwing away an 8 shot lead after Willets birdied 15.
