watched it tonight and whilst they did reasonable caricatures of all the main characters it did not have he feel of the original was. I cant imagine it will be anything but a one off. I downloaded porridge as well but haven't watched that yet, although that appears to stand more of a chance as it is not a remake.
they also have a lost hancock in the pipeline and if they dont update it it may be worthwhile. they recently redid some of the lost radio shows quite successfully.

well watched Porridge tonigt and it was a much better effort and #I can see it making it to a series. It's about Fletchers Grandson who's inside for hacking and whilst it has the flavour of the old show it stands on its own.
