Star Trek discovery

anyone else been watching.
up to episode 4 now and its been quite a good start.
Set after enterprise but before the original series.
the klingons have had a radical redesign, the look rather like the Narn from babylon 5, and for some reason Starfleet now have something called the spoor drive which can take you anywhere almost instantaneously. Also they have holographic communications which has not occurred in any other star trek series.
It is based around the starfleet/Klingon war and has got off to quite a good start.
Spocks father Sarek seems to have a recurring role as the mentor of the main character.
If you are a star trek fan you may well enjoy it, once you get past how different the klingons look. but then in the original series they looked almost human, so we coped with the change already once.

well in episode 5, as well as Harry Mudd turning up, we had 3 F bombs, "fucking". A first in the star trek universe as far as I know. Oh yes and it turns out the doctor and the creator of the spoor drive are gay.

I hope there will be a few Transgender characters introduced soon

tokenism, although dax in DS9 was sort of transgender
