Grenfell inspires schoolboy's fire safety app

The North London schoolboy has spent the past seven months designing a fire safety app for smartphones, which he calls IMAREC. .....

Re: Grenfell inspires schoolboy's fire safety app
good idea, not sure how it knows where you are in a building as GPS rarely works inside a big concrete block.
It would require some sort of system inside the building to enable your phone to locate where you are and every building would need to be mapped.
It's a system that is good in principle though. Better to just find out yourself where fire exits and routes are in a building for yourself for now.
