ABC drops Roseanne show after racist tweet

ABC TV network has cancelled comedian Roseanne Barr's sitcom after she posted a racist tweet likening an African-American former Obama aide to an ape.


ABC said: "Roseanne's Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values and we have decided to cancel her show." ....

However the hypocrisy of the left is apparent with the glee they have shown over her show getting cancelled considering the amount of abusive things that have come from american shows about trump and his family.

I very vaguely remember from the original show that the Blonde Haired daughter wanted to be a Doctor ( much to the dismay of her hubby)

Another episode I can remember, Roseanne finds out that her son doesnt want to kiss a girl during a school play, it then transpires that the girl in question is African American and Roseanne is filled with anguish that her son might be a proto- bigot

the original show was about an ordinary working class american family, the most left leaning character would have been her sister Jackie.
