The CBI, British Chambers of Commerce, Institute of Directors, Federation of Small Businesses and the EEF, the manufacturers' organisation, expressed dismay that MPs had descended into factional in-fighting as the risk of exiting the EU without a deal rises. ......... ...

They don't have to revoke it, they can call for an extension, infact they can kick it down the road, forever! although my guess is that they'll probably revoke it because the pressure of project fear continues to intensify, and that appears to be the current direction of travel.
No one, not one constituency MP has grabbed Brexit by the neck and forged a path to greener pastures, its been nothing but surrender from the start.
Your guess??
They will probably revoke it??
You are basing your views on anything concrete, just feelings.
What I know is that Brexit is written into law, it has a definite implementation date and there is no way of changing that, because the process to change that would take more time than they have left.
May is having her vote for in January so when she gets voted down, how on earth can she then put together a referendum, win it, and then make it law, all in 3 months??
Not possible

it could be, but it could not be debated or passed before we have leftThorney Sam wrote:An opinion when held by a majority can become a motion, and a Bill, a Bill to revoke or delay, the enactment of the act by both houses can be placed at 2259hrs on the 29th of March 2019.Flap Zappa wrote:
how convenient that the EJC rules in favour, although to be fair it didn't. It gave an opinion
"A Bill can start in the Commons or the Lords and must be approved in the same form by both Houses before becoming an Act (law)."
Such vagaries as the proceedings and timings will be at the discretion of the speaker and his clerks.

So??
Article 50 can also be unilaterally trigger by any country choosing to do so, not sure what the point is.

I think it's common knowledge that any commentary on how these events will proceed are entirely speculative.
Under normal circumstances the Maybot would have been replaced after the disaster of the last GE, I think Thatcher had more votes in a confidence motion and resigned, if a prime minister was unable to pass her bill through Parliament then resignation would automatically follow.
All roads lead to revoking article 50, the timing of the ruling and the fact that parliament only has a majority to stop a no deal scenario makes this a strong possibility!
All roads lead to revoking article 50??
Who is going to do that then???

The thought of their cheap Eastern European Labour workforce drying up and them no longer being able to exploit and under pay their employees must be keeping them. Up at night
Smelly Bandit concerned about the exploitation of East European workers.

I'm actually more concerned about the negative impact it is having on wages in general and specifically for brits, perhaps if you understood cause and effect you might understand the hostilities towards immigration
But that would require you to think, and why think for yourself when you can just screech "waist" at everything eh??

A Merry Christmas to you and your toaster.
Indeed who's going to do that!, one would suggest the centrist Parliament in government.
Acting unilaterally and independently??
I think you have been listening to too many remainer broadcasts.
I think what you will find is about to happen is that may has taken a gamble to pressure those opposed to her deal into signing it off, in a "shit just got real" moment.
It is now clear she is saying its her deal or no deal. It is my view that her gamble will backfire.
Too many hardliners want a no deal exit, Corbyn wants a full exit in order to pursue his mad communist ideas, she simply doesn't have the numbers to get it through.
If her deal is voted down that's it, no deal is the only option left. She survived a no confidence vote and is untouchable for a year, so no second referendum, no revoking of article 50.
Besides the cat is out the bag now, if you think there is any chance of not leaving, you're dreaming, all that will happen is parties like UKIP will reap the benefits and 10 years 20 years down the line this issue will be redressed
