Where next? France and Germany could be next on the quarantine list as Dominic Raab throws holidays into doubt - warning there is no 'guarantee' new restrictions will not be put in place like those on Spain

Dominic Raab warned that more summer holidays abroad could be ruined today as he said he could not guarantee more countries would not be slapped with quarantine rules.

He spoke out after holidaymakers already in Spain were told they would now have to spend 14 days in isolation on their return after air bridge rules were reversed overnight.

The change was made because of a spike in cases in the popular holiday destination, and it will raise fears that other countries could follow suite.

i agree, and have no sympathy for these fools

it was blatantly obvious that facemasks would make no difference and there would be a "second wave"  and once that happened the useless govt would panic as  they have been doing the whole time

I live in Wales, wearing a facemask isn't mandatory in shops unlike for England and Scotland ....

really a mask is an inconvenience for a few minutes in a shop, it was in the 40's where I was yesterday and people were still wearing them on the street. they might not protect you, but they do offer some protection from others from you. It's not so much the ones who are coughing and spluttering that are dangerous, it's the ones who have it but show no symptoms.

facemasks would make a difference if there were not so many fools that think their imaginary rights exceed the rights of the majority.
Just stick on a mask and reduce infections by a small amount. so far it is only required in shops

facemasks are about as effective as hanging chicken wire on your windows to keep the mozzies out,mozzies not Muslims, we use razor wire cold steel and hot lead for those fuckers,  especially the 2 for a fiver, made in china ebay jobs, that they wear upside down around their chins.

can you explain whats so bad about a virus that has no symptons?? if i were offered the choice of no symptons covid or full blow symptons flu, im team covid all the way,
