Re: London sales Boxing Day 2011
it does not appear that many people are suffering that much judging by the queues at the sales.
Re: London sales Boxing Day 2011
again the question needs to be asked why the chinese come here to buy stuff they make there .
Re: London sales Boxing Day 2011
I buy online!
Only once i made the mistake of going to a next Sale at 4am! Never again!
It was madness everyone was pushing each other like the items were free!!!!
People were just taking the stuff without even looking at it and only after all their bags were full that they went in corners and sorted it out!!!
Total madness!
Im lucky enough to get a VIP slot now before the sales!

I might have been one of those people
The one and only year I went to the Sales, which was about 5 years ago, I took Mr.A with me (bless him, he just wanted to keep me happy, I just wanted someone to carry the items I picked) I went to Principals and picked the classic pieces I wanted in my size, draped them over his arm and left him to pay...went next door to Next and started doing exactly the same, by the time Mr. A had his arms full, I left him in the pay queue and went to Wallis. Did the same there ....
I got so much stuff I've probably still got it and have never even worn it...so now whenever Mr A asks...'is that new' I tell him I got it when we went to the Sales.

Hi x
I even thought of that, I'd send Mr A back to the car so that he had room to carry more stuff.

That was too funny!
Your name is quiet deceiving then!
Noooo....
I let him have a coffee break now and again. Providing it was outside a store I was in and he could keep an eye on me in case I needed his arms.
