Hate to say it, cause I hate the arrogant shrek-alike, but we do need Rooney up front. Scott Parker is a waste of space imho. The match was dull I thought but then so have most of the openers that featured 'contenders' for the championship. Yup they score first and get cocky and practically hand over a goal on silver platter....not a good way to win. I've always said take them as individuals on their teams and they shine. Put them together as national team and it all falls apart. Giving away possession all the time is also counterproductive.
