Yes it is a tool which has only one meaningful function.
To kill.
5th moral and ethical argument by dean shown to be stupid.
Argument on people pulling the trigger, again absurd, the reasoning behind owning a weapon is for either defense or attack. If that is the case the intent is to use that weapon by activated its mechanism.
Remember no guns can kill on their own, that is why it took man to invent them to use them, to kill.
So few guns have killed people, without someone operating it, that is why humans should not possess them, as in their hands, they kill people. Thanks for proving my point.
Whatever way you look at your post, it is very retarded
hmm not many people being killed during olympic shooting competitions. Perhaps the gun has other uses. That however is beside the point. a gun does nothing without a person wielding it.

I have owned guns and spoons, although i've given them both up, just to be safe, even though no animal or human was killed.

Irrelevant that an invention has then been used in other aspects, when its main purpose is to kill.
The gun is used by humans, invented by humans to kill.
So you agree then that people in possession of guns is thus a big problem.

you are the one making outlandish claims about something that is nothing to do with the picture in the OP.

guns are no more moral that spoons or a pile of dog crap.
A gun will not leap of the shelf and kill you, it is an inanimate piece of metal, wood or plastic.
Guns only kill because a person chooses to use it as a tool. People get fat because they choose to eat too much. Often using spoons to do so, although the sign could just as easily read knife and fork.
next you will be claiming knives are not made to kill. That would be absolutely irrellevent to the point being made by the picture, just as your entire premise and argument is irrellevent to the picture.

Balderdash, there is no ethical or moral reason to own a gun.
You forget the fact that a gun can go off by accident, a gun is used to kill or injure and thus you are creating a view to make something acceptable when it is not.
Who said being fat was acceptable when it can create medical problems, that is a moot and an extremely stupid argument.
You are arguing one wrong against another, which is completely absurd.
The fact is if you deny the ability for anyone to have such weapons, accept the military and the Police, what need is there of people owning guns?
None accept in a controlled sporting environment.

Actually Didge no, it was the thrill of the chase, the kill was the accumulation of the skill required to produce the final result!

If it was the thrill of the chase, why would you need to kill then, as could a paintball weapon achieve the same outcome? So you could happily apply this kind of chase then without the need to even kill?
The objective of the chase is to kill, thus surely part of the thrill is by completely the chase is it not, thus by the kill itself?
Not even attempting to knock you here but understand your reasoning behind this.

I spent many nights lamping rabbits from the seat of a 4x4, I used a .22 rifle with silencer and all ways the head shot. The gun was a semi-auto Ruger with 10 shot mag. Every Rabbit was eaten by the Family or friends, others were sold to Butcher or given away to local Pensioners.

I understand, but it did not address the point if the chase was the thrill and you apply the same chase where you would not have to kill at the end?
Would you have the same thrill without the kill?

Without the kill at the end there would be no point in doing it. I know that reply will not satisfy you, bot I can't explain it any other way.

So the kill is then very much part of the thrill then.

Exactly, hence why the kill is very much part of the thrill.

Might try that next time I'm in Asda with a paint ball gun - just as an experiment you understand, I'm not a meat eater.
