These ten registered sex offenders from Greater Manchester are on the run - and there are more



Tariq Javed
Child rapist Tariq Javed, 40, of Aspinall Street, Rusholme, fled from Manchester’s Minshull Street Crown Court on February 29, 2016, moments before he was found guilty. He had paid £10,000 to be released on bail until sentencing.




Mohammed Yaqub
Mohammed Yaqub, 52, of Radcliffe Road in Bolton, is required to be on the sex offenders register for life and was given a sexual harm prevention order following a prison sentence.




Liam Fitzgerald
Liam Fitzgerald, 23, of no fixed abode, is known to have links to Manchester city centre.
Fitzgerald is a high risk sex offender who has been ordered to attend Central Park Police station to sign the sex offenders register.



Abdullah Alkhladi
Abdullah Alkhladi, 60, was convicted in his absence at Warrington Magistrates’ Court on February 12, 2005, for a sexual assault on a 15-year-old girl.
He never attended court to be sentenced and exhaustive inquiries to find him have so far failed.





David Griffiths
David Griffiths, 37, who has links to Manchester city centre is a high risk sex offender who has failed to inform authorities of his whereabouts as requested as part of the terms of his licence.




Asad Alam
Asad Alam, 41, is wanted for failing to appear at Manchester’s Minshull Street Crown Court on July 4, 2009, after being sentenced in his absence for a sexual assault in Droylsden where he was a taxi driver.






Ali Nassor Doran
Ali Nassor Doran, 56, of Worsley Grove, Levenshulme, is a registered sex offender who has left the registered address and has failed to notify authorities of a change of address as requested as part of his terms of licence.






Omar Aljufry
Omar Aljufry, 38, who is known to have links to Manchester, is wanted after failing to appear at Manchester Crown court after being convicted of rape and sexual assault by penetration following a report in December 2012.




Brian Warren
Brian Warren, 61, is thought to be in the Oldham area and has links to Greater Manchester.
Officers are searching for Brian Warren after he breached his licence conditions.
He was released from prison on licence in 2014 after being convicted of sexual assault in 2011.




Ali Hdjan
Ali Hdjan, 35, of Cable Street, Bolton, is a high risk sex offender who has previous convictions in 2014 and 2017 for sexual assaults on women who he did not know
