Here is our latest slogan "Dig for Victory"
Kuennsberg..How far must we dig? When will the digging be over?
Peston..Are you saying Shovels are better than rifles? Why are you missing your shovel supply target?
Beff..Can I sunbathe at Dunkirk yet?

All brilliant --- in theory
The problem is - some companies won't give a shiny brown shite about the health and welfare of their workforce

You are missing the point Dean
There are no stringent rules enshrined in law in relation to C19 and social distancing in the workplace.

im also still actively serving in the forces and we dont have PPE or social distancing but we do have close proximity to dozens of different people every day including dirty civvie fuckpigs, ironically the more signs there are around telling us to keep our distance the less people do.

that sbecause you cannot maintain social distancing in the workplace bob, in case you didnt know this, humans are SOCIAL animals and our entire culture and existance is based around close social interaction.fatbob5 wrote:

SD essentially tells humans to stop being humans and we have no policy or laws for that, which is why its going to fail

You have stated that you are ----- self isolating where possible ---- which seems to be at odds with the above post.smelly-bandit wrote:

Smells
C19 is a serious matter
Have you seen the recent clips of Boris.
He doesn't look good at all, he's certainly not firing on all four cylinders

not really
self isolation is one thing, which i do as a matter of course since i dont like / trust people who i havent been to war with and that includes the vast majority of people so i self isolate out of choice and have been doing so for years
social distancing is a completely different thing altogether.
how do children go to school and observe SD??? heres how
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
you turn schools into prison camps, thats going to do wonders for these kids, teaching them to fear and hate their fellow humans.
the same applies for every other aspect of human interaction and culture, everything we do is based on social interaction so how can we interact when we have to maintain a distance??

As far as schools are concerned SDing will be impossible especially for the younger pupils

Sd affects all aspects of life bob
schools being one of the most important since it can have positive or long lasting negative consequences for people as they grow up. whats happening in france will happen here, we are already seeing labour linked unions sabotaging childrens education for ideological adgendas.
SD doesnt work , not in schools not in the workplace, they will try to enforce it since they are stupid and it will fail at huge cost to the economy and our society, and when they eventually sobre up and realise it didnt work it will be too late.
but if you want to obey without question everything the BBC tells you to, then crack on bob, youve alreadyshown youre susceptible to subliminal conditioning and overt indoctrination so im not surprised.
dont worry bobby, thursday is only 5 days away, not long now and you can get your weekly dose of state whorship and mind wiping

I understand the government line that without school , it is children from ' troubled ' backgrounds that will lose out the most. I just think that things need to be done very carefully (especially in light of new reports - see other thread)smelly-bandit wrote:

SDing isn't necessarily about totally eliminating the threat of catching the virus, it's about reducing the threat of catching it and reducing the ' viral load ' so if you do fall I'll hopefully the symptoms shouldn't be so severe.

oh good, its been almost 24 hours since something "new" came out, i was starting to worry.
so SD is totally pointless, kinda like wearing compressed cardboard body armour in a war zone, wont stop the bullet but might reduced the velocity as it rips through your body giving you a better chance of survival
i feel so safe, so glad our economy is nuked
