Hugh's Poo's
First topic message reminder :
You beat me to it.....
Day One:-
Anyway...one day in and no ill effects.
I'm treating this stuff must like Antabuse (if memory serves me well..not that I've ever been an alcoholic). This makes you ill if you consume alcohol. This XLS stuff (to me) is the same.
I don't want to have poos that could double up as a candle, nor do I wish to wear a big nappy (not in 'work time' anyway!)
So, my approach is to this is to make XLS 'force' me to cut out as much fat as possible in my daily diet.
One the bike (exercise) to burn off a supposed 100 calories, then another tonight.
I reckon that will take about 1/2hr each.....Sky One/News is on the PC (just love SKY GO!!)....what more do I need?

yep..
Dropped down 1 dress size already!!
I'm now getting curious as to what these fatty poos (Steatorrhea) are actually like.
Still not had any toilet difficulties at all.....except having to pee in a plastic tub when stuck on a motorway after a smash..that is!!
I'm now 7lb lighter than when I started this little trial- 'though I remain to be convinced that this isn't just down to me and a 'placebo effect'.
Still got a long way to go..... but I've got a few business trips planned- that's when these 'diet' things become difficult.

So..... no major cravings, no desire to eat 'crap'..... I'd be interested to see whether XLS run a survey on how much repeat business they get.
I need convincing that the tablets are having any real effect.
will do a fortnightly weigh in on Tue...
Oh, no side effects at all!!

How much weight do you think you've lost & what made it go? Tablets? Gym? Diet?

Will do a weigh in tomorrow.
Reckon just shy of 9lb since last Tue.
Will be made up with 10/11lb in the 2 weeks!
I have a home gym (weights, pec' deck etc) but have been on the exercise bike a bit.
But haven't been on the mountain bike at all.
I've cut out the crap too, with a few meals out- just drinking white wine though.
I'm happy to accept that these things don't work ...and it's all a placebo effect.
For the sake of a cost of about £50 they are probably worth it....
If I'd been on the atkins (which does work- but screws me up) I'd have fallen off the wagon now.
The kitchen cupboards are full of all kinds of stuff that the boys love (jaffa cakes are a 'mare with me)..and I've not been tempted in the slightest.
I don't believe that any type of appetite suppressent is at work, as I would normally eat a 3 pack straight after a meal!
edit...
..."I'm a mother of 4 kids. They are already adults but still I never find my best weight again.
I secretly tried one medicine, but it's not really my style. In
addition, my BMI is 27, so it's not really dramatic yet is it?
I've now been testing XL-S Medical Fat Binder for 5 months and my scale
shows that I've lost 4.75 kilos. What's more, I've had no undesirable
side effects!
It looks like it gives results, but patience is the key...." so says one fan of XLS.

2lb a month eh?....... Mmmm..hardly a ringing endorsement is it?

Mmm... it's OK.... but has slowed down.
I reckon that (as the books say) 2lb a week is better for me and most people.
It ain't a lot...but does not affect the lifestyle too much....I do eat out a hell of a lot...
Big weigh in on Tue.....expect to be -10lb.

Re: Hugh's Poo's
SO...at a stone weight loss now.
I've (delibreately) eaten a few 'high fat' meals in order to experience these strange turds....not a thing.
Anyway I've just swallowed some sticky sausage...perhaps this should be moved to the those who ride on the other bus section?

TA!
cut out the carbs for 2 weeks, totally if you can.
By day 3 you'll be losing 2 lbs every 3 days.
I was chatting to the G.P and he swears by that method....

No coffee or tea for at least a week... You may get a bit of an Atkins Head (again, perhaps this should be moved to the I sit on the fence because I like the sensation section?)..so have a few headache pills handy.
That will usually be in a morning..I reckon that it's a caffiene addiction with me!
Stock the car with Pepsi Max, or Diet Irn Bru

I already drink a lot of water when in car. I love my coffee like! Is green tea okay? Presume it's caffeine related?

yeh..caffiene BUT I drink Pepsi Max..which is loaded with the stuff.
It may just be that many people drink coffee with milk/sugar.
Not sure about green tea.... is that a beverage that those who may enjoy a walk in the park after dark- would drink?

Hahahahahahah.
Green tea is refreshing, speeds up metabolism and zero calories.
But normally reserved for those who were not good at sports.....

Might try that... because I'm quite good at a few sports...possibly too good.
Licorice is also good for the metabolism too.
