The nursery school teacher was caught in crossfire near a fast food restaurant in Kilburn, north London, in an attack by two hooded men armed with a machine gun and sawn-off shotgun.
She and her friend, Sabrina Gachette, were victims of a "deep-seated" drugs turf war as they sheltered from the rain with a group of 15 others near the Woody Grill, in the early hours of August 24, 2013.
Convicted: (L-R) Yasin James, Martell Warren and Hassan Hussain
The mother-of-one was shot in the heart and died in hospital from her injuries.
The victims' families clapped and cheered in court as the judge sentenced Hassan Hussain, 29, Martell Warren, 24, and Yasin James, 20.
Some of the defendants swore and shouted back.
The three men were jailed for life, with a minimum term of 37 years, for the murder of Miss Moss, and the attempted murder of Sabrina Gachette.

Peter Holder jailed for 1988 rape of woman
Peter Holder admitted the charges at Reading Crown Court last month
A man who dragged a woman from a phone box and raped her 26 years ago has been jailed for 11 and a half years after a review linked his DNA to the crime.
Peter Holder was 22 when he grabbed the 30-year-old woman in Reading and raped her in a car park. He drove her two miles before letting her go.
Holder, 48, from Tippett Rise, pleaded guilty in August to rape.
Reading Crown Court heard Holder was jailed for three years and four months in 2010 for another historical crime.
Holder pleaded guilty to an attempted rape he committed 1987 - five months before the Reading attack - following another cold case review.
'Frightened to go out'
Holder, who also admitted indecent assault and kidnap in relation to the 1988 attack, was only arrested in May this year when modern technology identified DNA found on the woman belonged to him.
Judge Joanna Cutts said the delay was caused either because of the technology at the time not identifying the DNA or because there had been no match found at the time.
On the night of the attack the woman had been drinking after leaving an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.
Alan Blake, prosecuting, said she realised that she was not safe to walk home so she went into a phone box in Watlington Street to call a taxi.
Holder and another man dragged her out before he raped and indecently assaulted her. The woman was driven to Shinfield where she was freed.
Further details about the other man were not mentioned in court.
Reading the victim's impact statement, Judge Cutts said: "Peter Holder took away my life. He took away all my self-worth."
Judge Cutts added: "She has been unable to work since the incident. She is still all these years later frightened to go out."
Holder was put on the sex offenders register for life.

Christopher Penman murder: Awat Akram jailed for life
Christopher Penman's family said their father "wouldn't hurt a soul"

A man has been sentenced to life in prison for killing a man in a "brutal" stabbing attack.
Christopher Penman, 58, was found dead in his bed in Beaumont Leys, Leicester, on 22 February. He had been stabbed 23 times.
Police believe Awat Akram, 25, of Beaumanor Road, Leicester, killed Mr Penman in an act of jealousy over his ex-partner.
At Leicester Crown Court, Akram was told he would serve at least 28 years.
The court heard how on the evening Mr Penman's body was discovered, Akram, who is deaf, went up to police at the cordon around the house and gestured to officers he ought to be arrested.
Leicestershire Police believe Akram broke into the house, looking for his ex-partner, a deaf woman who was then in a relationship with Mr Penman.
'Deeply missed'
Awat Akram must serve at least 28 years in prison
Speaking after the trial, Det Insp Shaun Orton said: "This was a particularly challenging investigation, as not just Akram is deaf, but the majority of witnesses were also deaf or hard of hearing.
"Akram killed Christopher in a brutal manner. He then went on to deny his involvement in the murder and told police several lies designed to mislead and obstruct the investigation.
"I know it was particularly traumatic for Christopher's family listening to the details of how he was killed whilst Akram showed no remorse in court."
In a statement after sentencing, Mr Penman's family said: "Dad [Christopher] was a good person; he would not have hurt a soul.
"Everyone in the deaf community will also deeply miss him. He was taken away too young and in such a horrible way."

Paranoid schizophrenic Phillip Simelane, 23, killed 16-year-old Christina Edkins on a bus in Birmingham three months after he was freed from prison without supervision or treatment
A damning report has revealed that a string of social services failures spanning 12 years allowed the fatal stabbing of a teenage girl by a schizophrenic man.
Paranoid schizophrenic Phillip Simelane, 23, killed 16-year-old Christina Edkins on a bus in Birmingham three months after he was freed from prison without supervision or treatment in March last year.
But a court heard that Simelane’s own mother had called in police 21 times since he was 14 after a string of violent confrontations at the family home.
It also emerged after sentencing that he was the subject of warning ‘markers’ on the Police National Computer about weapons, violence, self-harm and suicide.
Simelane, from Walsall, pleaded guilty to manslaughter following the random stabbing, and was detained indefinitely under the Mental Health Act.
Now a homicide investigation review team said the fatal stabbing of Christina followed a series of 'mismanaged opportunities to identify her killer's acute psychotic disorder.
An investigation into the killing, co-ordinated by NHS Birmingham CrossCity Clinical Commissioning Group, highlighted long-term failings by members of the police, prison service and medical staff.
Chairman Dr Alison Reed said: 'It is clear that there were missed opportunities, particularly for organisations and professionals to work together more closely in heeding the repeated attempts by (Simelane’s) mother to secure help for her son.
'The attack on Christina was random and unprovoked and therefore it could not have been predicted.
'However, it is the conclusion of the panel that as Christina’s death was directly related to (Simelane’s) mental illness, it could have been prevented if his mental health needs had been identified and met.

Rymel Downer
A man was linked to a shooting outside a barber’s shop after he left his DNA on a lollipop in the getaway car.
Rymel Downer, 25, was jailed for 17 years for attempted murder after a man was shot in the mouth in south Manchester in May, last year.
The victim, 21, was bundled into a car and driven to hospital where he had emergency surgery and survived his ordeal.
He was hit when three shots were fired from a BMW 330D on Lloyd Street South, Fallowfield, at 3.30pm on May 25.
The car was later found burnt out in Whalley Range, but forensics teams recovered a lollipop next to the gearstick, containing Downer’s DNA.
A CD wallet left in the vehicle also had Downer’s fingerprints on it.
Detectives gathered further evidence against Downer, including mobile phone records which proved he was in south Manchester at the time of the shooting.
Det Chief Insp Pete Marsh, of GMP’s Major Incident Team, said: “It is utterly miraculous that the young victim survived this attempt on his life.
"Everything about this incident points to a concerted effort to kill the victim and it is only by the tiniest of margins that he survived.
"Downer was clearly confident of getting away with his crime, however officers quickly build up a wealth of evidence against him and today justice has been done.”
Downer, of Albermarle Street, Moss Side, was found guilty of attempted murder following a trial at Manchester Crown Court.
On Monday he was sentenced to 17 years.

Heroin worth £37m smuggled into UK in a Jaguar, jury hears
Luton Crown Court was told the car could not have been driven and drugs were hidden throughout, including in its bumpers, engine and dashboard
Heroin with a street value of more than £37m was "rammed" into a battered X-type Jaguar and smuggled into the UK from Pakistan, a jury has heard.
Luton Crown Court was told 316 packets of the drug were found in the car when police examined it.
Israr Khan, 35, of St Ethelbert Avenue, Luton and Noman Qureshi, 32, of Bracken Hill Mews, Bradford, deny conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
Mohammed Safder, 43, of Sidney Elson Way, East Ham, denies the same charge.
Prosecutor Gordon Aspden said the three men were unaware they had been under surveillance by officers from the National Crime Agency since November.
He told the jury the car arrived at Felixstowe port in a container ship on 1 December.
Defendants 'spooked'
Documents were prepared in Karachi which claimed the car was being imported to be repaired, the court was told, and it was taken to a repair business in Hayes, Middlesex, on 6 December.
The jury heard that before work could commence, the car was delivered by low-loader to a garage in Ley Street, Ilford.
It was met by the three defendants, who were "very, very jumpy", Mr Aspden said in court.
The low-loader driver was told to take the Jaguar to Church Elm Lane, Dagenham, where Mr Safder's brother owned a garage, the court heard.
The jury was told National Crime Agency officers watched the car being unloaded at around midnight on 6 December, but Mr Khan and Mr Qureshi were "spooked" and drove off, leaving the Jaguar, packed with heroin, on the garage forecourt.
Bedfordshire Police arrested the two men that night, and Mr Safder was arrested in February.
Mr Aspden said: "The Jaguar was rammed with drugs. There were 316 packets of drugs... the strength was extraordinarily high at 79%.
"It had a potential street value of over £37m."
The case continues.

The 15-year-old victim, who cannot be identified, was made to perform a sex act on Lacquan Weekes, who is 10 days away from his 18th birthday.
She had left home on an evening in April to buy a drink and was confronted by the two teenage girls in a park in Willesden, north-west London.
Aliyah Weekes had told her 'snitches get stitches' when she accused the victim of telling secrets about her and the 16-year-old.
Prosecutor James Dawes had previously told the court: 'It was Aliyah's idea. She was the one who said, 'Snitches get stitches'.
'She was the one who physically threatened (the victim) and said it was her who would punch her if she did not comply.'

Police say Nabeel Aslam was a 'major player' in the distribution of cocaine
Cocaine worth £500,000 was hidden in a fleet of cars owned by a ‘major player’ in Manchester’s drugs underworld, police have revealed.
Police seized an Audi A4 on Vaughan Road, Whalley Range, last year. And it has now lead to a drugs supplier Nabeel Aslam being put behind bars.
As the car was being towed away to a garage following the May 2013 seizure, the driver of the recovery truck saw two men searching the inside of the vehicle and escaping with a package into a waiting getaway car.
When the getaway vehicle was later traced by police officers, they found a large quantity of cocaine wrapped up in silver foil and plastic food bags.
The fingerprints of Aslam, 31, of Vaughan Road, were found on the packaging. Police later recovered a BMW registered to him, where officers found nearly a kilo of the drug with an approximate street value of up to £500,000.
As part of the investigation, a third car - another BMW - was also seized by police and £22,500 of cash was recovered, along with an apparent list of names detailing amounts of money. This paperwork also had Aslam’s fingerprints on.
This week Aslam pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply at Manchester Crown Court.
He was sentenced to five years and four months for one count, and 30 months, to run concurrently to the first sentence, for the second count.
Det Con Craig Barry, who led the investigation, said: “The sheer volume of drugs we recovered - with a potential street value of up to £500,000 - shows that Aslam was a major player in the distribution of cocaine in Greater Manchester. By taking this dealer off the streets, we’ve made a massive dent in that distribution network and disrupted the supply of drugs in our community.
“The evidence we had against him was overwhelming. Fingerprints, drugs hidden in cars, swathes of cash, debtors list - all of which built up a picture of him as a prolific and persistent dealer who was getting rich from selling drugs.
“I’m sure it must have been galling for people in this community seeing Aslam driving around in a number of flash cars bought for with the profits he’d made from drugs, so I hope it gives some satisfaction to see him locked up for such a long time.”

One of the country’s most dangerous prisoners will remain behind bars until he is a pensioner after trying to kill two prison officers at Strangeways.
New York gangster Clifton ‘Yankee’ Jeter, 36, who is already serving life for a gruesome knife murder in Brighton, tried to cut the throats of Alistair Cadell and Liam Keates using a makeshift blade.
He attacked the pair using a weapon made of a razor melted into a plastic knife handle near his cell on a small unit for dangerous prisoners at HMP Manchester leaving them traumatised and scarred.
He has now been handed a further two life sentences of 34 years for the attempted murders, adding 13 years to the sentence he is already serving.
Jeter will not be eligible for parole until the year 2048 when he will be 70 years old, after a judge said he was ‘highly dangerous individual’

On-the-run lawyer Shameer Sacranie guilty of £1m tax fraud
Shameer Sacranie is believed to have fled the country
A solicitor has been found guilty of stealing almost £1m of tax in a stamp duty scam.
Shameer Sacranie was sentenced to 10 years in jail after an investigation by HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC).
The 40-year-old from Leicester, who is believed to have fled the country before his trial, was sentenced in his absence.
Investigators said Sacranie's abuse of his clients' trust was "a despicable act".
Sacranie, who worked as a director for SFS Legal solicitors in Leicester, was arrested in December 2011.
'Abused trust'
Investigations revealed he had fraudulently altered legal property documents to reduce the amount of stamp duty due on 139 properties bought by his clients.
He then charged clients the full Stamp Duty amount and pocketed the difference.
He was due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 8 September, but absconded.
On Thursday, a jury found him guilty of cheating the public revenue and he was sentenced in his absence.
Judge Michael Stokes QC also issued a bench warrant for his arrest.
Stuart Taylor, assistant director of criminal investigations at the HMRC, said: "As a solicitor, Sacranie knew only too well what the consequences of his actions would be.
"To abuse the trust of his clients was a despicable act, stealing money that had been paid by them in good faith to meet their tax liabilities."

Dover taxi driver behind bars after sexually assaulting two women
The 22 year old was jailed for three years and recommended for deportation
A Dover taxi driver who sexually assaulted two teenage women who had been on nights out in the town has been jailed.
Rezgar Hassan, 22, of High Street in Dover, was found guilty by a jury of two counts of sexual assault and sentenced to three years imprisonment. Hassan, who was also subject of a five-year Sexual Offences Prevention Order and will be on the Sex Offenders’ Register indefinitely, has also been recommended for deportation.
Canterbury Crown Court heard in the early hours of 27 January 2013, Hassan was driving a taxi in Market Square when he accepted a fare from a 19 year old woman and her two friends.
The victim sat in the front seat of the taxi and during the course of the journey, felt Hassan put his hand on her leg. It was then that he inappropriately touched her.
Upon exiting the taxi, the victim told her friends and the following day she reported it to police.
Hassan was arrested and he was later picked out in identity parade.

In a second incident, in the early hours of 10 March 2013, a 17 year old girl was waiting at the train station at Dover Priory.
Hassan was again in his taxi and approached the teenager, offering her a lift home to Folkestone for free.
He told her to sit in the back seat with a cover over her as he had another passenger to collect. Once that person had been dropped off, she got in the front seat.
Hassan told her to recline her seat and then started asking intimate questions. He told her if she showed him her breasts, he would let her go. He then pulled her top down and inappropriately touched her before allowing the girl to get out.
Preyed on young victims
Investigating officer, PC Natasha Russell of Kent Police, said: ‘It was clear when investigating these two individual reports that Hassan had preyed on his young victims, taking full advantage of their vulnerability.
‘After having been on a night out in the town, both victims did the right thing by getting a taxi home. They expected the taxi to be a place of safety, but instead Hassan took full advantage of his position.
‘I would like to personally thank both victims for showing courage and bravery and coming forward to report what had happened to them. The sentencing reflects the seriousness of the crime and should serve as a warning that neither Kent Police nor the courts will accept this type of behaviour.’

Dean Mayley, 24, was stabbed in the heart while walking alone in Ruislip Road in Greenford in February.
Jamal Jones, 17, from Acton, was jailed for life at the Old Bailey, to serve a minimum of 15 years for murder.
Michael Mensah, 18, Ryan Beresford, 19, and Miguel Leiba, 17, were jailed for manslaughter.
A CCTV camera captured the fatal attack in which three shadowy hooded figures are seen approaching and confronting the victim before one of them lashes out with a knife.
Mr Mayley, who had learning difficulties due to a brain condition called microcephaly, collapsed in the road and later died in hospital.
Knife 'plunged'
Leiba, from Hanwell, Beresford, of Acton, and Mensah, from Greenford, had been cleared of murder but convicted of manslaughter and also found guilty of the attempted robbery of Mr Mayley.
Leiba, who was 16 at the time of the offence, was jailed for 14 years for manslaughter and eight years for attempted robbery, to run concurrently.
Jones, Mensah, Leiba and Beresford went looking for a victim, jurors heard
Beresford was sentenced to 15 years for manslaughter and eight years for attempted robbery, to run concurrently.
Mensah was jailed for 15 years for manslaughter and nine years for attempted robbery, to run concurrently.
He was also found guilty of an earlier robbery on 28 January and was sentenced to two years for that offence, meaning he will serve a total of 17 years.
Sentencing the four, Judge Martyn Zeidman QC told them: "It was Jamal Jones who plunged the knife into Dean's heart.
"But make no mistake, you all have blood on your hands. You each played an important part in this event and you did so knowing that Jamal had a knife and realising that he might stab Dean with it.
"Put bluntly, now Dean is dead and it's your fault."
In a family victim impact statement from Mr Mayley's mother, Donna, she said: "The loss of our lovely Dean has ripped our family apart.

The girl was standing at the junction of Corkland Road and Devonshire Road in Chorlton at around 5pm on Wednesday, October 1 when a black, five-door Audi pulled up alongside her.
The driver opened the passenger window and asked her if she wanted a lift, and when she refused he told her to get into the vehicle.
The victim, scared by the man’s approach, turned and ran to a friend’s house nearby.
The offender is described as a DARK SKINNED male in his late 30s, average build, clean shaven and around 5ft 9in tall with a shaved head and brown eyes.
He was wearing a yellow jacket with distinctive stripes on the shoulder and a diamond style stud earring.
Detective Inspector Kevin Marriott said: “Fortunately the victim was quick-witted enough to escape while she had the chance.
“It is unclear what this man’s motives were and it is important that we establish who he is, in case he attempts to do it again.”

Evil Hamayun Khan, brutally attacked the teenage victim after taking her back to a hotel room
Norfolk Police
Hamayun Khan raped a terrified 18-year-old and filmed the brutal attack on his mobile has been jailed for 10 years.
A sex beast who raped a terrified 18-year-old and filmed the brutal attack on his mobile phone has been jailed for 10 years.
Evil Hamayun Khan, 24, was working in Norwich when he met his vulnerable victim on the afternoon of April 8 last year.
He took her to a hotel room and they both drank alcohol before he attacked her, Norwich Crown Court heard yesterday.
The distraught teenager fled before being found by police wandering in the city centre, and was taken to hospital.
Khan, who has shown no remorse, was arrested and his sickening phone video seized.
The stomach-churning footage showed the victim semi-conscious.
Khan, ofBromford Road, Birmingham, denied rape and sexually assaulting the woman, but was convicted of all charges following a four-day trial.
The savage attack had left the victim even more vulnerable, the court heard.
The teen's mum read an impact statement telling how her daughter had tried to kill herself and had become extremely nervous of men.
Jailing Khan for 10 years, Judge Katharine Moore slapped him on the sex offenders' register for life.
She told the brute he posed a "high risk" of targeting more vulnerable women in future.
Judge Moore also accused Khan of showing "no real remorse".
After the case Det Con Paul White, who led the investigation, said: "Khan took advantage of a very vulnerable young woman, who was going through a particularly difficult time.
"This case has had a huge impact on the victim's mental health from which she is now recovering."

Bradford doctor Ahmed Masood jailed for child sex assaults
Ahmed Masood, 71, had worked as a GP and hospital doctor in the Bradford area.
A retired doctor who sexually assaulted a young girl thirty years ago has been been jailed for nine years.
Ahmed Masood, of Lampards Close, Allerton, in Bradford, worked as a GP and hospital doctor in West Yorkshire before his retirement.
He subjected his victim to repeated assaults between 1982 and 1985 when the girl was aged between seven and eight.
Masood, 71, was convicted of six counts of indecent assault at Bradford Crown Court in September.
Jailing him at Leeds Crown Court, Judge Christopher Batty said had the offences been committed under the current legislation, Masood could have expected a prison term of 15 years.
He told Masood he had abused the trust of his victim and her parents in a "horrific way".
"I don't think it's any exaggeration to say her life has been ruined," he said.
Following the sentencing, a friend of Masood's victim, who is now in her 30s, said she welcomed the nine-year jail term.
She said: "The one thing she would have liked is for him to show some remorse. She would have liked a sorry from him, if nothing else."

Police raided the address on Epping Street at around 7.20am yesterday as part of Operation Xcalibre and discovered a 9mm handgun, a sawn-off shotgun, ammunition and a small quantity of Class A drugs.
Ayub Mabrouk 27 , Ibrahim Mabroul 25 and Marbrouk Marbrouk 20, all of Epping Street, have each been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition and possession of a shortened shotgun.
All three will appear in at Manchester magistrates court today.
Following yesterday’s swoop, Detective Inspector Tony Norman, said: “Every gun we remove from the criminal fraternity’s arsenal is one less weapon they can use to threaten and intimidate or injure or kill another person. Every bullet seized represents a potential murder averted.
“The Xcalibre Task Force has officers working tirelessly to disrupt and dismantle criminal gangs and we remain committed to our ultimate goal to see a gun-free Greater Manchester.
