im all for segregation as a choice not as an enforrced policy, if this cruise company doesnt want my business then i will give my money to someone who does. one of my all time favourite pubs is now on my blacklist because of their covid compliance, the way they overreacted and behaved like nazis means i doubt very much i will be going back there, which is a pity since its an amazing pub and in walking distance of my house.

if a company has a bad business model and has policies that make the cuustomer do the work then they wont last very long. if a went to a place 10 times a month but now only go twice a month because of their covid policy then they have lost money, a small amount granted but if they dont replace my custom then over a year thats a lot to lose from a single punter.

ive been to plenty of places like that, and the good ones will get me back and the ones that went full blown mask fanatic covid cultist on me wont be seeing me again

With nightclubs the ruling is easy to enforce, they all have security staff ( used to be known in my day as ' Bouncers' ) bit more difficult for pubs and restaurants.
Also would the staff cooperate with the ruling.
Tuesday evening, no-one about would a struggling restaurant really want to turn away a paying customer who didn't have their ' passport '

They will have to because it will be law soon, and possibly they wont have the opportunity to turn people away, if people who aren't vaccinated aren't turning up then they cant be turned away.

Will be interesting to see how it works. The vaccine division isn't straight up and down. The division will weave its way through families and friendship groups.

there was a period in the beginning when i was actually worried

i had my reasons to want to avoid infection , i washed,i scrubbed,i anti bacted every single thing,i even took off my shoes and left them outside before coming inside, i antibacted the packaging of the items i bought and left them outside to dry and yes i wore my military issue respirator to sainsburys and people smirked and even laughed, those people are now the ones you see driving down the road in their cars on their own with masks on

and then i woke up and saw the lies for what they where.

i stopped wearing any face covering shortly after it began, i would say in about april time i stopped and never wore one since (i have a "hidden disabilities" lanyard)

i never bothered with social distancing more than i would do at any other time or beyond what was imposed on me , that is to say i didnt shit myself and dive into the stinging nettles when i saw someone comiing down the path towards me or do the covid shuffle in the canned goods aisle because i was going the wrong way in the one way system, i never even acknowledged the one way system

I have never been tested, the one time they tried to introduce it i just dropped the supplied liquid from the LFT test onto the test and it came up negative

NO APP

never used the app, never been pinged and never isolated

NO JAB

never been jabbed never going to be jabbed

NO COVID

meanwhile, lost of people i know at work are getting sick with covid or having to self isolate because their fully jabbed famliiy members are going down with it

the results speak for themselves bob

As far as I know I haven't had the virus, probably because I like avoiding people even at the best of times..
Never used the hand disinfecting gel for going shopping, only used it once when voting a few months ago
